Maxon Computer acquires Redshift Rendering Technologies
Munich/ San DIego/ Silicon Valley — DLA Piper advised Maxon Computer, Inc. a subsidiary of software provider Nemetschek SE, on the acquisition of Redshift Rendering Technologies, Inc. a developer of flexible GPU-accelerated 3D rendering software.
Maxon is a leading developer of professional 3D modeling, animation and rendering solutions. Redshift offers a comprehensive feature set that significantly reduces the rendering time of large and complex 3D projects. Redshift was already available as a plug-in rendering solution for Maxon’s award-winning Cinema 4D and other industry-standard 3D applications.
