WorkGenius receives new financing round of USD 7 million.
Hamburg — The HR platform WorkGenius receives another financing round of USD 7 million from Axel Sven Springer, John Jahr and Oliver Heine. WorkGenius has created a platform to shape the future of work — from task description to finished result — for both freelancers and companies.
Entrepreneurs Axel Sven Springer, Oliver Heine, John Jahr and a Swiss family office already invested €8.5 million in the Hamburg-based human resources startup in 2018. The company was founded in 2012 by Daniel Barke and Marlon Litz-Rosenzweig and was formerly known as Mylittlejob. Repositioned, it has now established itself as a platform for finding, managing and paying freelancers. Around USD 20 million has already flowed into WorkGenius. The startup employs 75 people.
