DLA Piper appoints two new partners in Germany
Frankfurt — DLA Piper appoints 62 new partners worldwide as of May 1, 2018, including two new partners in Germany, Christian Lonquich and Carlos Robles y Zepf. In addition, the firm is promoting five lawyers in Germany to Counsels, also effective May 1, 2018.
Christian Lonquich joined DLA Piper’s Frankfurt office in 2016 and is a member of the Real Estate practice group. He specializes in all types of real estate transactions and real estate-related restructurings. He has extensive experience across the real estate value chain, including financing and restructuring, as well as significant expertise in structuring, overseeing and leading multi-jurisdictional portfolio transactions. He also focuses on consulting on workout issues and working through complex loan portfolios.
Carlos Robles y Zepf (photo) joined the Frankfurt office in 2015 in the Corporate/M&A practice group. He advises German and international clients on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate law issues. He has extensive industry knowledge, particularly in the chemical and energy sectors.
Dr. Dennis Hog (Real Estate, Frankfurt), Dr. Volker Lemmer (Insurance, Cologne), Silvio McMiken (Corporate/Private Equity, Munich), Dr. Jan-Philipp Meier (Corporate/M&A, Hamburg) and Dr. Sebastian Schneider (Litigation, Munich) have been appointed as counsels.
