Berlin — Dei meisterwerk ventures GmbH has closed a financing round: a family office from Switzerland supports the innovative business model of the venture builder. With the multi-million financing, the company will invest in the field of e‑mobility and further support the growth of the medical technology portfolio companies.
meisterwerk ventures GmbH is a venture builder for promising start-ups from two research-intensive and promising industries: medical technology and e‑mobility. Micromobility services and solutions GmbH, which specializes in urban solutions for passenger and freight transport, was recently founded for the new field of e‑mobility. Development of a unique corona test
In the medical technology sector, the venture builder brings together two companies under its umbrella. midge medical, the first spin-off, is working on the development of an innovative technology for science-based, low-cost and rapid gene and blood tests in the home and medical environment. The current focus of midge medical is on the development of a compact and portable COVID-19 genetic test. This completely new test is designed to enable rapid and cost-effective evaluation. Just recently, midge medical closed a financing round in the mid-single-digit millions.
Founded in 2018 by meisterwerk ventures, AICURA medical provides a platform for the development and implementation of AI-based medical applications. The AICURA platform makes medical data available in hospitals for the development of AI applications. It also enables AI applications to be seamlessly integrated into clinical workflows. Data protection is always guaranteed, as the data never leaves the hospitals at any time.
