Hygraph: Series B round for USD 30 million
Berlin — Hygraph has successfully closed a $30 million Series B investment round led by One Peak to accelerate the next generation of content management for the Composable Architectures era.
Existing investors Open Ocean, One Peak, SquareOne and new business angel Boris Lokshin (co-founder and CEO of Spryker Systems) also participated in this new round, bringing our total funding to $43.7 million.
Founded in 2017, Berlin-based startup Hygraph is an enterprise content management platform that makes it possible to develop tomorrow’s connected digital events quickly and at scale. Demand for networked digital services is growing, but developing everything individually is costly. Today, organizations not only need to distribute content across multiple devices, but also access and deliver content from a variety of disconnected sources.
Hygraph’s federated content platform represents the next generation of content management, enabling a many-to-many relationship between different content sources and devices. Hygraph is headquartered in Berlin and employs 66 people from all over the world, spread over 5 continents, 18 countries and 26 nationalities. With the fresh capital, Hygraph plans to continue its innovation and expand its market presence, with a focus on North America.
“Just as Headless CMS has transformed content distribution, Hygraph is transforming the integration of content and data to enable the creation of new digital services and business models in the content economy. Our new financing round enables us to further scale our business. We want to do for content management what MuleSoft has done for integration,” said Michael Lukaszczyk, CEO and co-founder of Hygraph.
