
GENUI takes over IT specialist Aagon
Soest / Hamburg — GENUI GmbH has acquired the IT specialist Aagon. GENUI is a private investment company founded by renowned entrepreneurs and experienced investment experts. GENUI pursues the “Good Entrepreneurship” approach, which combines attractive returns with positive impact. The financing is provided by funds managed by Capital Four. — Herbert Smith Freehills advised GENUI GmbH on the financing of the acquisition of Aagon GmbH.
Aagon was founded in 1992 by Wilko Frenzel and Sascha Häckel. Based in Soest, North Rhine-Westphalia, the company currently employs almost 150 people and works for more than 2,800 customers and partners in over 20 sectors.
With its modular system, Aagon offers a holistic solution approach for the daily challenges of IT departments, such as the central management of devices and software licenses, fault recording or in the area of cyber security. — With Aagon Client Management Platform (ACMP) and the Aagon Enterprise Service Bus (AESB), Aagon offers client and software management systems such as license management, security management, patch management and customer support from a single source.
