BorgWarner sells thermostat business to Arlington
Oberbohingen — US automotive supplier BorgWarner has signed an agreement to sell its thermostat business to Arlington Industries Group Ltd, including production facilities at its German site in Oberboihingen and in Piracicaba, Brazil. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019, subject to customary closing conditions. Hengeler Mueller has regularly advised BorgWarner for many years, including in 2013/2014 on the acquisition of the exhaust gas recirculation business (Gustav Wahler GmbH & Co KG), which also included the thermostat business.
