POELLATH advises Theobald Software on sale to Bregal Unternehmerkapital
Stuttgart/ Munich — The investor Bregal Unternehmerkapital has acquired a majority stake in Theobald Software GmbH (“Theobald Software”). Founder and shareholder Patrick Theobald will withdraw from the management in the future, but will continue to hold an interest in the company. The closing of the transaction is still subject to customary regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close by the end of February 2022. POELLATH advised the management of Theobald Software in the context of the sale regarding the management participation.
Stuttgart-based Theobald Software GmbH is a leading global provider of intelligent interfaces for the integration of SAP and non-SAP systems into Microsoft environments and third-party systems for BI / Analytics as well as databases, analytics platforms and cloud solutions. From its five offices in Europe, the USA and Asia, the company serves over 3,500 customers of all sizes and from all sectors, including numerous medium-sized companies and a large majority of DAX-listed companies.
