Oppenhoff advises on the sale of the Sunovis Group to Brookfield
Singen — Oppenhoff advised the founders and shareholders of the Sunovis Group on the sale of the company to asset manager Brookfield. The sale took place within the framework of a competitive bidding process set up by Lazard. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
Sunovis, based in Singen, Germany, has successfully developed more than 30 solar projects in Germany and other European countries and has a current development pipeline of approximately 1.7 GWp of solar projects, of which approximately 600 MWp are in advanced and mid-stage development. Sunovis’ current management team will continue to lead the company.
Brookfield is a global asset manager and one of the world’s largest operators of wind and solar assets with a global network and expertise in renewable energy operations and development.
